DISCOVER MT ANGEL MEMBERSHIP

Discover Mt. Angel is a non-profit organization formed in February of 2023.  We welcome businesses and non-profits of all kinds to join us on our mission in promoting our members and community! We have monthly network meetings, will be hosting numerous events in the community throughout the year, and have great member benefit and sponsorship opportunities.  Discover Mt. Angel shares a cross membership with Mt. Angel Chamber of Commerce as well as Woodburn Chamber of Commerce.  We all work together in our own unique ways to promote this amazing and one of a kind town that we call home.

Purpose Statement: Creating economic prosperity for our members and community through business development, the support of networking and educational opportunities and the enhancement and promotion of tourism development to ensure a thriving community.

Any business located in Mt. Angel with a Mt. Angel City business license is welcome to be listed on our website for no charge.  If you would like your business added to this site, please email us at marketing@discovermtangel.org .

Any business in or outside of Mt. Angel  is welcome to attend  up to 3 Discover Mt. Angel monthly networking meetings.(3rd Thursday)   A Membership is required for any business, organization, or individual to continue attending after the three meetings. 

For any business that joins in 2023, that membership will be active through December 31, 2024. Memberships run January 1-December 31. 

This membership is available for businesses that have a Mt. Angel address.  Benefits to this membership include:

1. Business name  listed on the Discover Mt. Angel Website

2. Website business listing to include a link to your website

3. Invitation to attend all DMA monthly business networking meetings(3rd Thursday)

4. Members can place business cards, flyers, menus, and other promotional materials on the members table at the monthly meetings

5. Discover Mt. Angel Sticker which includes a QR code to this website to help those visiting our town to more easily be able to see all there is to explore

6. Members can submit ads, flyers, and/or announcements to be included in our weekly email blast.  This blast will be emailed to any business owner as well as any community members that have signed up to receive it  (Current email list is 150)

7. From time to time Discover Mt. Angel will hold business education meetings and seminars that members are invited to attend

8. Various discounted sponsorship opportunities throughout the year

9. One vote at our annual meeting. (Only businesses/individuals with a  Mt. Angel address receive a  vote)

10. Discover Mt. Angel members are welcome to set up a booth downtown during The Next Fridays at no charge

11. Membership includes a welcome fb post along with a tag or link to your website. 

After you submit your application someone will reach out to you and we will send you a link for payment.

This membership is available for businesses that are not located in Mt. Angel city limits.  Benefits to this membership include:

1. Business listed on the member page of the Discover Mt. Angel Website

2. Invitation to attend all DMA monthly business networking meetings(3rd Thursday)

4. Members can place business cards, flyers, menus, and other promotional materials on the members table at the monthly meetings

5. Discover Mt. Angel Sticker which includes a QR code to this website to help those visiting our town to more easily be able to see all there is to explore

6. Members can submit ads, flyers, and/or announcements to be included in our weekly email blast.  This blast will be emailed to any business owner as well as any community members that have signed up to receive it.

This membership is available for non-profit organizations.  Benefits to this membership include:

1. If located in Mt. Angel, organization name listed on the Discover Mt. Angel Website Services Page.  Outside of Mt. Angel will be listed on member page

2. Invitation to attend all DMA monthly business networking meetings(3rd Thursday)

4. Members can place business cards, flyers, menus, and other promotional materials on the members table at the monthly meetings

5. Discover Mt. Angel Sticker which includes a QR code to this website to help those visiting our town to more easily be able to see all there is to explore.

6. Members can submit promotions, events, or sales happening at your organization on our weekly newsletter.  This newsletter will be emailed to any business owner as well as any community members that have signed up to receive it.

7. From time to time Discover Mt. Angel will hold business education meetings and seminars that members are invited to attend.

8. Members will receive various discounted sponsorship opportunities throughout the year.

9. Mt. Angel based Non-Profit members have one vote in Discover Mt. Angel elections

10. Membership includes a welcome fb post along with a tag or link to your website.
